Google docs, presentations, spreadsheets

I really feel that this is going to be beneficial to our classroom settings, let alone for personal use! Being able to pull up a document that has been worked on anywhere you are and view it, edit it, have others edit it, etc. is going to be a wonderful capability.
I am very excited about learning how to download video into a presentation!! I have known how to do presentations for quite some time, but video was something that I was not familiar with... so I am pretty excited to use this new found knowledge!!
The different forms in spreadsheet seem like they will cut down on worktime that is usually taken working on creating things for students. And these are all tools that can be used by teachers and students. :)

  1. Having everyone work on the same document is pretty cool, but what about the student who doesn't participate? or the student who likes to challenge authority? How would you handle that situation?

  2. I liked the spreadsheet so much better than Excel's as it seems simpler and more accessible. There are so many features to play with in it, though it take time!

  3. Yesterday's activities were really exciting to think about for both teachers and students. I thought using the Form for quizzes and the spreadsheet option for viewing responses was great!
